The Yakima Indians, like most Indian tribes, have close connections to the heavens and the earth.  The unyielding form of the man's body is like that of the land--hard, firm, resisting changes from man and element alike.  His mind is free to soar with the eagle atop the mountains and in the valley, touching everything, like a feather upon the wind.  Peer deeply into his eyes and you will feel the freedom of the soul.  Like the oceans upon the shore.  Gently moving the sands of time with a steady, unending motion.
